Popular Yoruba movie actress, Nkechi Blessing, has used her new video to reveal that we are our own worst enemies in Nigeria because we do not like to see marriages flourish.
She disclosed that some bloggers do not promote people that are doing well in their marriages, saying that they only focus on the ones that are having issues.
She made it known that by the time people start to promote successful marriages with encouragement, that is when marriages will start to last for a very long time.
She stated that people should stop believing that because someone failed in their own marriage that they are also going to fail, saying that it does not matter because nobody knows what they have been through in their own marriage.
In the statement she made in the video, she said, “We are our own problem in Nigeria; we love seeing people’s marriages fail.” Some bloggers do not talk about marriages that are working; they only talk about the ones that fail. “Some people doubt if they will ever get married because others failed in their own marriages, but it does not matter because nobody knows what those people have been through.”
