Olori Sekinat Elegushi, the beautiful wife of the Oba Elegushi, the traditional ruler of Ikate-Landed Estate in Lagos, Nigeria, recounts her journey with her husband in a recent interview with BBC Yoruba.

In part of the interview she reveals that she never thought she would not have a male child.

She said:

I never thought I won’t have a male child, God gave me three daughters

When it comes to the Kingship I know my daughters can become king but there is no other place where men stand that my daughter won’t compete with them
